Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-07

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using YourTurn.group ("the Service"), operated by Caellwyn AI LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

YourTurn.group is a group event coordination platform that helps organizations manage recurring events, host rotations, and member communications. The Service includes web-based tools for scheduling, email notifications, and member management.

3. Accounts and Registration

To create a group, you must provide a valid email address and create a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Group secretaries (administrators) may invite members by email. By inviting members, you represent that you have a reasonable basis to contact those individuals (e.g., they are part of your organization or social group).

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers a free trial period followed by paid subscription tiers. Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected interval (monthly or annual).

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for spam, unsolicited bulk email, or harassment
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Use the Service to collect personal information without consent
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile information, photos, group names, location data). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the Service. We do not sell user content to third parties.

7. Communications

Email

The Service sends transactional emails on behalf of groups (event announcements, hosting reminders, rating requests). These are not marketing emails. By joining a group, members consent to receive these communications. Members may leave a group to stop receiving emails.

SMS / Text Messages

SMS notifications are strictly opt-in. SMS is never the first contact channel and is never used for marketing. After accepting an email invitation and signing in, a member may choose to switch their notifications to SMS via their member profile, where the Service will display the SMS opt-in disclosure and require the member to enter a verification code sent to their phone before SMS messages are enabled.

Once opted in, members may receive transactional SMS messages on behalf of their group: event announcements, RSVP requests, host reminders, and cancellation notices. Message frequency varies (typically 1–3 messages per week, depending on the group's cadence). Message and data rates may apply.

Members may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by switching their notification channel back to email in their profile (Profile → Edit profile → Notifications → Email). Reply HELP for help. SMS delivery is provided by Twilio (see our Privacy Policy for the full sub-processor list).

For full details on what messages we send, sample message text, and how the opt-in flow works, see our SMS Terms & Opt-in Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Caellwyn AI LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to group secretaries. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
